Un mois plus tard ou presque - partie 1 - boulot

Bon, bon, bon.
Mea culpa, j'ai délaissé ce blog volontairement par pure paresse. Devoir taper le code Recaptcha à chaque photo m'ennuie ... Ne cherchez pas plus loin la raison du manque de nouvelles.

J'ai commencé à travailler chez Promod le 20 juin comme prévu.
De mon contrat de 20 heures par semaine, jai récolté 35 heures la première semaine pour en travailler environ 30. Inventaire le premier jour, braderie à préparer le vendredi, je suis passé de ma vie d'étudiante en vacances qui ne fait rien à bien occuper mon temps.

Mes pieds ne sont désormais que douleur.

Enfin, c'est déjà mieux que la semaine dernière : la préparation de la braderie m'a donné mal aux bras, aux jambes, aux pieds, au cou. J'avais mes règles : douleur abdominale, entre autres.
Et je suis tombé comme une idiote dans les escaliers parce que mes collants et le tapis ne s'aiment pas. J'ai glissé, causant une bosse sur laquelle s'ajoutait une ecchymose affreuse et énorme sur une fesse. Tout le bas du dos faisait mal aussi. Je me demande comment j'ai survécu. (;__;)

Cette semaine, j'ai 30 heures à l'horaire, mais on m'en a déjà enlevée 2. Les soldes s'en viennent et j'anticipe la montagne de travail qu'il y aura à faire jeudi soir. Si c'est dans la chaleur actuelle, je me demanderai vraiment ce que je fous là et pas au fond de l'océan Arctique.

Changeant totalement le sujet, je viens de tomber sur ce site magnifique.
Si vous êtes un Cougar ou un jeune homme rêvant d'en rencontrer une (surtout toi, jeune artiste aux feu cheveux longs retourné récemment à ta patrie, tu pourras élargir tes horizons), faites-vous plaisir mais je ne suis pas intéressée à le savoir.

Just a small post !

My body weight is an issue for me.

I know it should not be. I am not skinny anymore, not that I was skinny to begin with, but I used to be a bit thinner. Got about 10 lbs to my ~healthy weight~ : I feel fat. I am still wearing XXS in Le Château sizing and XS every other place.

Japanese fashion magazines are probably one of the main reason. Seen this on Gyaru Secret this week :

What did I though at first sight ?

"They should lose weight." "They are fat." "Omg, 50 kg !"

Things are... they are clearly not fat. My body is similar to theirs right now. I already knew that publicity and the like was altering our beauty standard and perception, but I wasn't aware it was to that extent. I am not anorexic. However, if my friends were not there to help me to realise that I am fine, I would probably get very near of anorexia or bulimia. I am eating choco chips muffins as I am writing this post, but later today, I will allow myself to eat only low calories food...

At least, I told myself to be that skinny was not only ugly, but also highly unhealthy. If I looked like this, I would gain some kgs. So, I may have hope.

Rush and Défilé and camwhoring ?

Aaah~ !

It is again this time of the year for us, in Canada. End of the term, exams are next week and bye bye, see you next Fall, University ! Studying and papers are time consuming as usual. It is a bit depressing how much I am no life right now. I don't even webshop or only have a look ! I don't have the time. (;__;)

But from next Friday, I will be free !

Or not totally because I will go crazy because of my soon-to-be move to Europe. Oh, well... I shall think no further than next week for now. My german oral examination worries me very much. Talking about 10 minutes in german after 14 courses seems too much. 

I enjoy learning german. It is a beautiful language. I used to hate it back then, tough. A lot of ''boring'' words seems to be wonderful when I name them in this language : Kugelschreiber (pen) is one of my most loved ones.

Last week was the NadeshiCon défilée.

I think it was nice. That was my first défilée (and first convention ever), so I can't compare. I was fun to do, even if I thought I was not "right enough" to make part of the défilée. I mean, I love koakuma kei but I don't consider myself as a gyaru, let alone a koakuma gal. However, I did my best and I loved the experience. Para para dancing was especially fun. I was too slow and did some mistakes. We did not practiced the Seisou no aquarion routine together very much, only a couple of time on the morning. I would have needed a lot more. Yuki Hareem's girls were awesome ! Many, the leader, helped me with the make up.

She also done my (fake) nails for that day. It was freaking long. I had to ask everyone for anything. How do you do, girls ? They are pretty, don't you think so ?

I never been good to keep up a blog !

Each item are really cheap, less than 1$ USD for the most.

I also received my fake lashes.

I ordered three Decorative Eyelashe pairs from a Rakuten shop. They are inexpensive, about 350 yens each when bought in individual package. That is great if you are a beginner. I did not wanted to buy a 5 lashes DollyWink package and discovering that I hated to wear it !

I bought my three Diamond Lash from another user blogspot, Sepia Memory. She sells it individually for 3,50 $ each and shipping is about 2-3 $. If you are looking to try on new styles or to try a new brand, give a look on her blog. She does products reviews, so you may want to read it before buying anything. She is doing a giveaway right now. Please have a look if you like to get new products for free, like makeup and lashes !

 

I don't really like the Glamourous Diamond Lash lashes. I mean, they are very nice but they are waaaaaay to big for my taste. I don't have a picture now, but when I tried it, it was touching my eyebrows !! If having eyelashes which hug your eyebrows can seems natural for one, well, they look pretty natural : not really shiny, especially next to the Decorative one.

You can see on the picture that I cut in two parts (well, it's three but you can't see it) one of the Decorative one. I was easier to me to get used to bottom lashes that way.

Sorry to not write a lot. I am mostly studying german and neurolinguistics right now and I guess it's not really what you would expect from a blog talking about one's taste in fashion, right ?

Brains and languages are amazing. Just remember it.

I also got my two clip extensions from Cyperous, new wig stand and brush !!

I am still waiting my new Liz Lisa dress. I was looking for it forever ! Can't wait to wear it. <3

A bunch of nail art thingies are somewhere in the world, trying to reach right now. Waiting is sooo~ long ! Well, when you chose slow shipping method to save a bit of money...

A lot of things are happening in my life lately. They are not good. Shopping makes me feel better.

I am kinda broke, but it seems I want more items than I ever did because of that serie of bad events, plus that I "need" them for my trip. I am still wanting new circle lenses, new extensions, new clothes, new nail art items.Working holiday visa are so damn expensive ! You just never stop to spend for something or another something. Here 20$ for three small pictures, here 80 $, here 60 $, here 15 $, here ... Can't wait to be in Brussels in May !

(Learning three languages at a time if maybe too much, but dutch, deutsch and italian are needed!)

Coût d'option

Aaaah~

We add so easily things on our personal wishlist, aren't we ? When it comes time to buy something, I can't be the only one who can't chose want I want to most. Currently, I am looking on nail art jewelries, false eyelashes and contact lense. I should add that I am looking for about two thousands jewelries in nail art, about every brands and styles that does exists in eyelashes, same goes for the contact lenses.

How do you chose what you want the most ? 

What are your favorite lense color ?

G&G GBT Green seems to be very nice...

I am also learning a para para choregraphy for a defilé next month. I always loved para para but I was too lazy to learn dances properly... That is a nice occasion to learn one. Since people count on me, I cannot be lazy anymore.
Yuki Hareem is doing the Gal part of the defilé. I hope they can turn me as a pretty koakuma gal.

I never tought it could be so tiring thought. Ahahah~

First time !

Welcome on my blog~ !

Canadian girl, ex-lolita, now a free fashionista inspired by gyaru fashion, I am Berlin.

I do not plan at this moment to become a perfect gyaru, but it seems that I like more and more koakuma kei, hime kei and gyaru. I also like mori girl and dolly kei, so you can sometimes see some inspiration or elements of those styles on me.

As my first language is french, I ask you to bear with me mistakes and nonsense. Languages and linguistics are my two passions beside chocolate and japanese fashion, so I accept fashion con/crits and english help. In a respectful way, anytime. One of my dreams is to be able to speak more than five languages fluently. I am already talking french. I learn english since I am young but I am far from perfect. I am currently studying german and italian.
